Aegis Platinum and Shield Shape White Diamond
This Aegis Platinum Ring with a White Diamond is first carved in wax before being cast into Platinum. The shield shape of the diamond is carved into the wax so the stone has a perfect seat that is as unique as the stone.
Below is a video of the wax carving. Using a jewellers drill, a piece of wax is carved to the desired ring size and then a seat for the stone is made. A delicate process, time and patience are essential to create the final wax ring, to be then cast into Platinum in this case.
