Recent commission for a modern day relic!

A happy couple picked up their wedding bands this week, one of which was this striking and unique carved men's wedding ring. This was an unusual commission and we were delighted with the outcome. It's always lovely to help people's ideas take shape.

Engraved men's carved band

The ring was designed for an archeologist and is based on his favourite piece from the British Museum. For this interesting project, we made a modern day relic for him, hand engraved with a runic inscription derived from the original ring, which dates back to between the 8th and 10th centuries. The substantial and solid men's wedding ring is made from 18-carat yellow gold. It was given a high polished finish to highlight the deeply carved lettering and will be worn for many years to come!
