Sapphire and diamond engagement ring commission

 

This beautiful, one-of-a-kind engagement ring is a very recently finished commission. The ring is made from platinum and set with two deep blue sapphires, which have a combined total of one carat, as well as 0.9 carats of white diamonds.

Having seen designs from our collection and previous commissions, our customer knew that he wanted to create a one-of-a-kind ring for his fiancee. We worked with him to refine ideas until we reached the final design.



The ring was then hand forged from platinum bar, which was tapered and formed into elegant curves through gentle hammering. The platinum ring wraps around the finger, narrowing into delicate curls which cup the stones in delicate bezel settings.



A large round diamond and deep blue pear shaped sapphire are balanced by a round sapphire and a line of pave white diamonds. The result is a beautiful, feminine and unusual engagement ring.
