Carved fitted engagement and wedding ring with marquise diamond and green sapphire

Beautiful and unusual, this pair of hand-carved rings is a recent engagement and wedding ring commission. A marquise cognac diamond is set at an angle across the engagement ring and the matching fitted wedding band is set with a round green sapphire. Made from 18 carat rose gold and carved by hand, these sculptural rings are one-of-a-kind. When worn together the rings appear to be entwined, an effect created by their flowing lines and the slight tilt of the marquise diamond across the wedding band.

This unusual gold engagement and wedding ring set is based on the hand-carved Arris rings from our collection. Hand-carving is a technique we've been exploring for several years through a series of one-of-a-kind rings for our collection and commissions. We love the immediacy of working in wax and the intuitive nature of the carving process. Each of our carved rings is individually carved by hand and is entirely unique.
