Opal and Silver Carved Cufflinks

Cufflinks are a beautiful statement piece of jewellery that can make a well tailored suit look even more crisp and styled. Although our focus is usually on rings, we love making cufflinks and changing things up every so often. 

Katie contacted us to make some silver cufflinks featuring two opals with as much colour as possible in them for her husband. We loved the idea and got carving in wax. We made Katie and her husbands wedding ring sets and so we designed the cufflinks to match the engraved wedding band her husband wears as much as possible. Below is a video of the wax carvings, front and back, as well as the finished product.
