Platinum and sapphire engagement ring with pointed claws

Our latest platinum and sapphire engagement ring commission is a variation on our sculpted 4-claw engagement ring design. The ring is set with a beautiful vivid blue sapphire, which is held in place by four pointed claws. Pale grey platinum is the perfect match for sapphire and the contrast between the two materials emphasises the sapphire's depth of colour.

This sleek, modern engagement ring was commissioned by an architect and has the clean lines and minimal aesthetic that we often find designers are drawn to. The ring's flat band tapers from a wide base and narrows above the finger as it reaches the setting. Beneath the stone, the band is shaped to give the illusion of it flowing into the setting. This unique sapphire engagement ring is one of the first 4-claw rings we've made with pointed claws.
