Bespoke open engagement ring commission

This open engagement ring worked beautifully! It is a recent commission based on our forged rings. The open band twists around the finger and tapers to a flick at each end. It's a lovely design for an engagement ring and makes an interesting alternative to a traditional diamond ring.

To make the ring we hand-forged metal bar, carefully hammering it to shape and taper the metal. The final form was refined by carefully filing and finishing the metal. The resulting ring has clean lines and graceful curves. Hand-forging has the added benefit of hardening metal, which makes this ring more durable.
